Sri Sri Ravishankar,Founder of Art Of Living Foundation, a universally revered spiritual and humanitarian leader, believes that world leaders must keep the promises they made at the United Nations Millennium Summit in 2000. StandUp/SpeakOut event status from around the world..Inspired by Guruji, Sri Sri RaviShankar to mobilize support of 4 million+people, Art of Living worldwide will host on Oct 16/17 StandUp and SpeakOut event - a United Nations Millennium Development Goal campaign on issues ofpoverty, health, women empowerment, environment, etc and to set a new worldrecord (see http://www.standagainstpoverty.org/en/node/13665).

Preparations are infull swing around the world with more than 40+ Art of Living countries participating. It’s a very easy event to setup and hosted by almost any one.

This Stand Up Event is going to witness over 40,000 people in Guruji’s presence.. Heroes and Heroines of AOL.. The attraction of the day :Guruji :-)) is going to present 8 awards to 8 AOL Teachers / Volunteers whohave dedicatedly worked for One of the Eight Millennium Development Goals... intheir own ways, over the years.

Delhi: An AOL event at a Central location in Delhi, Stand Up event at Parliament street between 3 to 5 pm.with approx 40,000people. AOL team, delhi has roped in an FM channel (95) to run Guruji's message. HT isgiving 3 editorials on 16,17 n 18 oct...for art of living's stand up event with unmc 1 lakh people shall take the pledge in Ram Leela on 16th Oct at 11pm. 55,000 people shall take the pledge in schools, colleges, BPO's and otherorganisations in Delhi and NCR. .International Labour Organization (ILO), has joined hands with Art of Living for this pledge... and lots more happening in delhi....

Bahrain : 100,000 targeted. - Morning: 8-10am, large school population. That would also include TheBahrain School, which is associated with the American Naval Base. - Mid-Day: 11-1pm, one of the largest Hospital & Educational Facility,Salmania Hospital . - Afternoon: 1-3pm, the Diplomatic area region, the HUB for all Trades. - Evening: 5-7pm, a marathon event with all the Diplomats from everyNation's Embassy. If permitted, event will be in a Stadium and have 8 runnersrunning a lap for each cause
Bangladesh : Signature campaign and speaking out at universities andcorporations, sms text message support thru mobile service providers, mediaawareness and public gathering.
Indonesia:- Mass Rally at Jakarta National Monument at 7 am – 9 am, Yoga BreathWorkshop, & Pledge 7,000 participants -Mass Rally in Jakarta National Monument at 9 PM- an evening of Songs &Meditation & Pledge 8,000 participants -Mass Rally in Bandung together with Government officials and offices, awhole street is closed for pledge- 8,000 participants -Rally in Bogor in Bogor Athletic Stadium 1000 participants -Rally in Bali Island 1000 participants - The YES + youth have mobilized going to schools and university to createawareness we are planning to bring as many people and this is in spite of longNational holidays
Kenya : a HUMAN CHAIN from Lamu Fort to Shela Fort, on the seafront/beach – 4kmlong.Organizing an essay competition at all schools and a football tournament priorto event day.

Morocco : Executing big events.
New Zealand : Salvation Army to support. Member of Parliament, African band toentertain.
Oman/Middle East : Schools ~15,700 participants, Indian Social Clubs, DandiyaGroups,and large Industries being worked out. Pledge will be read out on the PAsystem in the largest Hypermarket, Radio/Media. Ambassador of India supporting.
South Africa : South Africa to reach over 100,000 at Youth centers,Corporations, Municipality, Media-House, scho0ls, Police Colleges, shoppingcenters
United States : Cities in more than 15 states participating.
